2026 summer camp APPLICATION
Apply for Summer Camp at Ekone
How Summer Camp Applications Work
Once you’ve considered which sessions sound the most awesome to you, let us know your preferences in the Camp Application.
Our process is not first-come, first-serve; we have a two-week open-application window in December, and rolling applications thereafter. We place campers in sessions to create a healthy mix of kids and equitable access to our programs, and to reduce the stress of registration deadlines for all. For high-demand sessions we may use a lottery.
Step One
Complete a Camp Application in Active. (Many sessions fill in December, but we generally have space in some sessions through the spring.)
Step Two
Sit tight and wait for a response by email. We’ll assign campers to sessions, and let you know as soon as it’s time to confirm and complete registration.
Step Three
Complete your registration and pay tuition in Active. A deposit is required to hold your space in camp. Then just browse the packing list and get excited for camp!
Tuition
Each session’s tuition is shown in the Camp Session Descriptions.
Our pricing model uses two tuition rates.
“Base Rate” covers the cost of facilities, food, staff time, and basic operations.
“Restoration Rate” reflects more of the true cost of offering exceptional, equitable programs with integrity towards land, animals, and people. Those who are financially able to help “restore” social and ecological equality at Ekone are invited to join us in sharing abundance.

A 20% deposit is required to hold your space in camp, with the balance due one month before the session start date.

Ekone’s Camp Scholarship Program
We are committed to making Ekone’s programs accessible, and about ¼ of our campers rely on financial aid to attend camp.
The objectives of our scholarship program are…
Objective One
Offer an experience of nature, animals, and community to children lacking access to these things in their daily life
Objective Two
Increase social, cultural, racial, economic, ability, and other diversity in our camp community
Objective THREE
Prioritize youth from tribal communities and restore Native access to this land we occupy
Objective Four
Support leadership potential in the next generation by investing in youth and families
Applying for a Camp Scholarship
We encourage families to apply for scholarship support if tuition is out of reach, and to help us connect with children who might be a good fit for our scholarship program. The scholarship application is embedded within the camp application; just follow the prompts in Active.
